Super Mario Maker Guide - Course Maker and Amiibo

Wow! Hey guys, fakemiamoto here and I just got Super Mario Maker for the WiiU! This game is magnificent! I mean, just buy it already! It might as well be the hub for Miiverse itself! I made some levels and they are good and look much better than I anticipated. If you don't have a WiiU, get the Super Mario Maker bundle with the game, a WiiU, and Star Fox Zero! My brother made a level that is almost impossible to beat! The main part of the game is the course maker obviously. My favorite part about it is that you can bend the rules a bit by, lets say you have a Lakitu that throws spinys on default. You can change that by dragging a hammer bro into the cloud that he rides. You can also shake things with your stylus to change their color, design, or even character. If you shake a green koopa, it will turn red. If you shake a lakitu, it will fall out of its cloud allowing you to put other things on top. If you shake Bowser, he will turn into Bowser Jr. All of these can be changed back by shaking them again. If you shake a bullet bill launcher, it will turn into a homing one that shoots homing bullet bills. If you shake a cannon, the cannon will shoot faster and turn red as well. If you shake a platform, it will scroll through many different designs dedicated to the level it's in. There are also things you can't shake, so keep that in mind when you try to shake a goomba. You can also supersize enemies by giving them super mushrooms. All enemies except for lakitus and bullet bills can be bigger. If you shake a big enemy, it will go back to its normal size. You can also sake a piranha plant to make it breathe fire. Also, you can give almost anything wings. Every enemy except for bullet bills and chain chomps can have wings. Piranha plants can have wings, but they jump instead of fly. This is the same with green koopas and goombas. Themes, there are seven themes for a level to choose from: Ground/Grassy, Underground, Underwater, Castle, Ghost House, and Airship. These themes are different in each style of graphics. The styles of graphics are classic mario, SMB3, Super Mario World, and NSMBU. Every style of graphics has a missing theme to it. This means that the themes weren't in this game when it was on the market. Classic mario never had Ghost house or Airship, SMB3 never had Ghost Houses, SMW never had airships, and NSMBU has them all! All themes have a goal pole except for castle which has an axe bridge instead. You can also use Amiibo but only in the classic mario style. Tap it in, and the costume will appear on the game pad. All Amiibo are compatible with this game. In the level, they will appear as mystery mushrooms giving you the costume that you tapped in to the level. These costumes all have different sound affects for jumping, dying, posing, appearing, and finishing a level. They all give you an extra hit as well. You can lose it like you lose a power up, so be careful! While I'm on the topic of the Amiibo feature, I would like you to meet the classic mario deluxe 30th anniversary Amiibo! Tap it into your game and it will give you a mega mushroom instead of a mystery mushroom! When you pick up the item, everything will turn classic! The classic background simulates a TV from 1985! Instead of bullet bills and cannon balls, Luigis appear! You also turn huge and can break though hard blocks. The best part about this is that the enemies get mustachios and hats! That's basically it though... but you can still lose your costume as easily as the others, so be careful and have fun! :)
